Further to the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) announcement published on Tadawul website on 20/03/1437H (corresponding to 31/12/2015G), related to Jabal Sayed mine of its affiliate Maaden Barrick Copper Company (MBCC), the declaration of commercial operation of Jabal Sayid Copper Mine has been delayed from first quarter 2016 to a later date to be announced by the company at the appropriate time, and this is to allow for final mechanical testing to be completed.

Maaden Barrick Copper Company is a limited liability company, jointly owned 50:50 by Maaden and Barrick Gold Corporation.
