Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) : Memorandum of cooperation between Saudi Geological Survey and Saudi Arabian Mining Company signed

Riyadh, Rabi'I 27, 1435, Jan 28, 2014, SPA -- In the presence of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Abdulkarim, advisor for companies' affairs, the Saudi Geological Survey and the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden), signed a memorandum of cooperation between them today at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the President of the Saudi Geological Survey Dr. Zuhair bin Abdul- Hafeez Nawab and Chief Executive Officer of Ma'aden Khalid Bin Saleh Mudaifer.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the signing, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi highlighted the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on bolstering cooperation among concerned authorities.

The document is a good example of cooperation between the public and private sectors in the fields of earth and other relevant sciences.
