Ma’aden secures event naming rights for LIV Golf’s inaugural year in the capital city
LIV Golf Riyadh presented by Ma’aden tees off at Riyadh Golf Club, featuring Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka among many world-class stars
LIV Golf, the world’s first global golf league, and Ma’aden, the Saudi Arabian Mining Company, announced a new partnership to kick-off the 2025 LIV Golf season at its first-ever event in Riyadh. The tournament, which tees off today, will be officially known as LIV Golf Riyadh presented by Ma’aden, and further establishes LIV Golf’s distinct team model and unique fan experience in the region.
In addition to serving as Presenting Partner of LIV Golf Riyadh, the multi-year partnership will see Ma’aden secure event naming rights for a second event this season. Ma’aden will have significant presence across both events, including branding, hospitality, unique access to LIV Golf players and one-of-a-kind experiences.
The announcement serves as a testament to Ma’aden’s role as both a top domestic employer and a global leader in the mining industry. Together, Ma’aden and LIV Golf will push towards a tech-centered future as both brands continue to connect with younger fans.

Entering its third official league season, the LIV Golf League features an exciting blend of individual and team competition that has supercharged the sport, redefined how golf is experienced and captivated fans worldwide. Each tournament features 54 holes played over three rounds with shotgun starts, where all teams begin play simultaneously on different holes. Fans can watch the star-studded field in action, including 2024 LIV Golf Individual Champion, Jon Rahm (Legion XIII), 2024 Team Champion Ripper GC captained by Cameron Smith, Bryson DeChambeau (Crushers GC), Brooks Koepka (Smash GC), Dustin Johnson (4Aces GC), Sergio Garcia (Fireballs GC), and many more, in person, 6-8 February 2025, at the Riyadh Golf Club.
