Community Commitment

Community may have many definitions. For Ma'aden, community can mean a village on or adjacent to a Ma'aden site, it may be the business communities of nearby cities, a community of nomadic indigenous people who pass by or through our sites, or it could mean the Saudi community in general.

Ma'aden will apply collaborative, purposeful and inclusive engagement activities with the communities in which we operate through consultation and communication activities.

As a matter of principle, Ma'aden will undertake and support activities that address the environmental and social impacts of our operations in the communities in which we operate.

Ma'aden is committed to working toward supporting sustainable development initiatives or implementing related operational activities to ensure we are contributing toward long-term benefits in the communities in which we operate without creating unsustainable dependencies.
