Ma’aden hosts Ramadan Iftar in three regions and awards long-serving staffs

Riyadh – Saudi Arabian Mining Company "Ma’aden” hosted its annual Ramadan Iftar gathering in a number of sites across the Kingdom including Riyadh, Ras Al Khair in the Eastern Province and Turaif in the Northern Borders. The three events were widely attended by staff, management and President and CEO Eng. Khalid Al Mudaifer. These annual gatherings are organized to commemorate Ramadan, and to gather employees outside of the working environment to strengthen familial bond and teamwork among Ma’aden staff as well as to commit to living the company’s core values of care, teamwork, integrity and ownership during Ramadan.

In Riyadh, 60 Ma’aden employees were also given service awards commemorating their many years of dedicated service to the company. President and CEO Eng. Al Mudaifer wished employees a peaceful Ramadan and recognized their contributions to the company. In his remarks, Eng. Al Mudaifer said that Ma’aden is keen on gathering its staff on various occasions including Ramadan where the most decent of human and societal values are pursued and positively reflected in the company’s operations.

Eng. Al Mudaifer also highlighted the changes taking place in the industry and emphasized the importance of looking at these challenges from a positive perspective while mobilizing the company’s capability to grow further. He expressed his optimism in Ma’aden’s ability to meet the Saudi Vision 2030 expectations that Ma’aden will continue to develop the mining sector into the third pillar of Saudi industry and contribute to the Kingdom’s plans for economic diversification and job creation.
