Ma'aden’s First Ordinary General Assembly Approves the Appointment of New Board of Directors Members

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,25 October 2008: At the invitation sent to shareholders, the first ordinary general assembly of Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) held a meeting on Saturday 25/10/1429 Hijri, corresponding to 25/10/2008, to approve the appointment of Board of Directors members for three years as of the assembly’s date on 25/10/1429 Hijri, corresponding to 25/10/2008, in accordance with the Company’s statute.

The assembly concluded its meeting and approved the appointment of: 1) Mr. Mansour Saleh Al-Mayman, 2) Engineer Sultan Jamal Shaoli, 3) Mr. Abdullah Saif Al-Saif, 4) Engineer Khaled Hamad Al-Sinani, 5) Dr. Abdullah Issa Al-Dabbagh, 6) Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Al-Jarbou, 7) Dr. Ziad Bin Abdulrahman Al-Sudairy 8) His Excellency Mr. Sulaiman Saad Al-Humayed, 9) His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Khrashi.
