Ma’aden hosts 3rd Saudi Enterprise Risk Management Forum

Ma’aden recently hosted for the third consecutive time the Saudi Enterprise Risk Management Forum (SERMF) at its headquarters in Riyadh. The formation of the SERMF was initiated by Ma’aden aimed at gathering risk professionals from leading companies in the Kingdom to share risk management best practices and to highlight the importance of effective risk management towards successful strategy implementation.

Since its formation, SERMF continues to attract more interest among risk professionals from various industries. At present, companies that have joined and actively participated in the forums include ARAMCO, SABIC, STC, Mobily, Abdul Latif Jameel, Saudi Oger, SIPCHEM, Tasnee, Radicon Gulf, Sahara Petrochemical, Advanced Electronics Company, Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery, Osos Tech, Tawuniya and SEC.

During the meeting, Ma’aden invited two risk experts, Alesker Ramiz, Regional Director ROV Inc. and Ozge Gurgur, ERM Projects Leader from Deloitte & Touche, who delivered presentations focusing on the “Quantification and Risk Metrics, Cases from the Industry” and “How to make risk management an integral part of organizational processes”, respectively.
